Portrait of Zinadine Zidane. One of the greatest players ever to grace the pitch. Son of Algerian immigrants, born in Marseille, a melting pot of immigration and cultural diversity. What can become of the sons and daughters of immigrants? My father was the the son of a Polish POW, captured in Italy and released to Middlesbrough, UK after British liberation in World War II.
