A self portrait during a time of loss. Also the first time I ever wrote the poem that follows, which in turn inspired a whole bunch of other works. Again, the painting tries to portray the many layers of reality, or how reality can be perceived (in this case an emotional reality) and how all these layers coexist, expressed through transparency, colours and symbols. The poem I wrote on it goes as follows:

All of them realities,
none of them true.
One minute you're there,
the next you're gone.
