£1,390

Renaissance Rome looking at Architecture engravings, working with the Royal Stairway this entrance is multiplied to create an exaggerated sense of depth, its inspired by the time Kristjana spent at the V&A creating an exhibition in the British galleries. Kristjana passion here is working with depth and using the plates collected John Barrington which have an exceptional depth and clarity working with them creating dept and colour is a feast for the mind. The elements include the all knowing Paul Smith famous Zebra and English curiosities and industry like the fox coming for tea and the rabbit coming with the teacups as well as the industry that is the core of PS the sewing machines.

Kristjana captures the traditional method of dioramas by adapting her trademark collage technique; designing and giclée printing the individual elements, before intricately hand and laser cutting them and slotting the pieces into a bespoke frame and layering to create the sense of reality and depth. The result is a stunning three dimensional paper theatre graphic art piece.
