CJP

CJP was an art director who turned photographer and finally after retirement became a fine artist. He retains a bond between each discipline, often overlapping his skill sets to create his illustrative art.

His highly detailed pointillist drawings reflect his passion for the natural environment and how humans interact with it. This work came to Art of Protest Gallery's attention after a time lapse film of him drawing went viral online. With originals taking between 3 and 6 months to complete time lapse was the perfect way to see it unfold.

CJP's artwork also reflects his passion and interest for human ingenuity; along with the belief that it is only through this ingenuity which can turn around the consequences of industrial damages to the global environment.
